Carrie has been a disability advocate in her roles as a pediatrician, volunteer for several local organizations that support individuals with disabilities, and most importantly- as a parent to her daughter Ava, a 16 year junior at Minnetonka High School. Ava also has Down syndrome, and participates in many social and athletic activities at school and in the community.
